Ketamine is a dissociative anesthetic that has been used in medicine for over 50 years. Recently, it has gained attention for its potential use in treating mental health disorders such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, and chronic pain. When used in low doses in a controlled setting, Ketamine can help alleviate symptoms of these conditions and provide profound insights and transformative experiences for patients.
At our Nashville clinic, we offer KAP in conjunction with talk therapy sessions to maximize its therapeutic benefits. Our therapists work in conjunction with medical professionals who administer ketamine through a small intramuscular injection. The therapists then guide clients through the experience in a supportive and calming environment. Click below to learn more about KAP.
MDMA Therapy is the next available option for psychedelic therapy. This will be the first new psychedelic therapy since ketamine therapy. Research currently shows it to be very effective for treating PTSD and trauma in general. Although it’s only in Phase 3 clinical trials with the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS), the results are profound. Trials show the true value of MDMA as a psychedelic therapy medicine.
Elument has applied to be part of the Expanded Access program. Ideally, we will be able to bring MDMA therapy to Nashville within the year. Robert DeSalvo was the first MAPS trained therapist in Tennessee and has been championing the use of psychedelic therapy.
Whether you want to take a psilocybin assisted journey with an outside guide or home psilocybin therapy, we’re here to help. Although we can’t provide psilocybin or directly guide people, we can help you get the most out of your psilocybin therapy journey. We offer preparation before your experience to discuss intention, mindset, safety, location, and dosing. We offer integration afterward as well. It can be easy to lose some of the helpful connections, insights, and experiential changes that happen during your psilocybin journey. We can help you make sense of the journey and cement the growth from the experience.
We are looking forward to offering this service within the next couple of years. Legally guided psilocybin therapy, or mushroom therapy, combines the medicinal effects of psilocybin, or “magic mushrooms”, with the benefit of psychological support and therapy. The preliminary scientific studies show benefits for depression, anxiety, addiction, and consciousness expansion. Psilocybin has also been shown to frequently give clients a magical or spiritual experience. This experience is rated as a top 5 most profound experiences in a client’s life.

Medication management is a vital aspect of mental health care. It involves a collaborative partnership between you and a qualified mental health professional, typically a psychiatrist, psychiatric nurse practitioner, or psychiatric clinical pharmacist. The primary goal of medication management is to optimize your mental well-being through the use of prescribed medications.
We encourage people to bring a notebook and anything that you feel would be soothing if difficult feelings comes up (e.g. stress ball, lucky charm, etc.). We work on keeping the room a neutral temperature, however we encourage people to wear or bring layers to allow for hot cold adjustments.
